Join singer-songwriter Lou Mclean as she tells you all she knows about opening up and writing from the heart. The workshop is aimed at all women, from complete beginners to recording artists. The workshop will focus on DIY songwriting, and exploring individual creativity, with a look at some of the problems women face when it comes to creative expression.
The aim is to help understand some of the hurdles we might face in our journey to be creative, how to overcome our fears and to write some songs! We will work individually, and participants can expect a small and intimate group, with lots of opportunity for 1 to 1 attention. So be audacious and get ready to write and have fun in a supportive atmosphere and you’ll be sure to go away with at least the beginnings of a song! You're welcome to bring an acoustic instrument if you play one.
