Rising from The Cracks
Winner of the Scottish Landscape Sculpture Award.
Lorna Fraser is an Edinburgh based artist whose porcelain work is inspired by the botanical world. Her current work investigates the magical world of tiny mosses and lichens. Lorna will discuss how during a residency on the Isle of Eigg she discovered a huge variety of different species colonising just one boulder. Magnified, they offered up a miniature landscape of wonder which inspired her award-winning work ‘Rising From The Cracks’.
