Perpetual Landscape

David Faithfull’s landscape interventions involve a broad range of experimental processes and forms from drawing, printmaking, Artist’s books, multiples and murals, to installation and site-specific pieces. Often integrating the minerals and elements from the location, much of his work involves interpreting remote landscapes through text, carving and print. Current investigations include drawing with oak-gall ink, screen-printing squid ink and seaweed medium directly onto tidal beaches (Barcelona, Santander, Sognefjord, Mull and Portobello) as well as alchemical investigations with powdered Anorthosite moon rock and basalt.
