Reflections on Morningside Life: 1798 -1970

This lecture will tell the story of the emergence of Morningside from a 19th century rural hamlet to a thriving city suburb, covering the social, economic and cultural changes that have transformed the community. Bob Cunningham will discuss aspects of Morningside’s development and the War years. One of the writers of Memories 3 will recall memories of growing up in Morningside in the early years of the 20th century.  Bob Cunninham has lived in Morningside for 41 years and is a history graduate with a special interest in researching the history of Morningside
