Professional artist, linguist and traveller - Mary Cameron (1865-1921) was a woman ahead of her time. Today, however, her name is virtually unknown. This illustrated lecture, timed to mark International Women’s Day and complementing our current exhibition Mary Cameron: Life in Paint, places this inspirational artist back in the spotlight, tracing the story of her remarkable career.
