Henna – non-permanent body and hand art - is important to many religious traditions as a celebration of joy, and is especially important as a pre-wedding rite in Muslim and Hindu communities.
We’re joined by Henna artist Basimah Nadeem for some drop-in Henna sessions. Come join us in the grounds of Lauriston Castle to experience a taster of traditional South-Asian Mehndi.
