Join us at the City Art Centre for an entertaining, memorable, informative evening of music, readings and talk, in celebration of Emily Brontë, one of English literature’s most famous authors; and find out how Edinburgh had an influence on her and her writings.
It will also be a rare opportunity to hear for the first time in a public event the newly created unique “Emily Brontë Violin”, made in tribute to mark this important Bicentenary, from wood of an old Sycamore that stood in her village of Haworth, West Yorkshire.
Scottish Fiddler and composer Claire Campbell will be playing the Emily Bronte Violin accompanied by Accordionist Norman MacKay. A unique chance to hear for the first time the Emily Brontë violin, in what promises to be a memorable evening
