Hannah Lorimer, the elder sister of John Henry Lorimer, was an all-round artist. She painted and sculpted, stitched and carved, taught lessons and accepted commissions from friends. In this  in-conversation with Charlotte Lorimer, co-curator of Reflections: The Light and Life of John Henry Lorimer, Nicola Law will  share what she discovered about the life, work and travels of Hannah Lorimer  through her masters in Museums and Gallery Studies at the University of St Andrews. Nicola has a passion for women's history and telling 'forgotten' tales, especially of accomplished yet under-appreciated female artists.

The event is free but booking is essential. To book, visit: https://www.lorimersociety.org/events.  This virtual in-conversation will be run on zoom hosted by the Lorimer Society and introduced by our Programmes Team. You will be sent a joining link the day before the event. It will also stream on our City Art Centre Page.
