Magic of Origami Workshop – The Japanese Art of Paper Folding – for beginners

Learn a centuries old Japanese art form. Basic origami folds make intricate designs (ori means folding – kami means paper). The goal is transforming a square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture. A fun online demonstration or workshop; you can participate or simply watch. You will be shown how make an origami box, a balloon, a flower and a crane. Having made a crane we will go more advanced and make a dragon which follows on from a crane. You will need squares of paper 15cm x 15cm as a minimum size for this workshop and a clear table space. Paper can be any colour or printed pattern you would like your finished paper sculpture to be. Beginners workshop.

**  This event will now be run online. Join us on the City Art Centre Facebook page on the day. No registration or Facebook account required **
