Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” Albert Camus

Autumn is a beautiful time of year; the colours of autumn are captivating and lend themselves well to creativity and crafting.

In this crochet workshop you will have an opportunity to work with the colours of autumn immersing yourself in nature. In the morning we will crochet some symbols of autumn and after lunch we will decorate a hoop or make a garland to decorate your home. Whatever your crochet skill level you will be able to take part in this workshop as long you can make chains and trebles.

If you are at the beginning of your crochet journey you may want to make super easy pumpkins in different sizes. For the well-practiced beginner/improver you may want to try leaves, acorns, mushrooms, or autumn flowers, and for the accomplished crocheter you may enjoy the company of like-minded people in a beautiful environment.

You will receive a class handout so you can continue your makes at home is you wish, and all the materials needed for the workshop will be provided for you, just bring along your favourite 4 mm crochet hook. With artist Karen Thomson.
