Taking inspiration from artists Ade Adesina, Graeme Todd, Robert Batty, David Eustace, Peter Howson, Victoria Crowe and Jenny Martin all included in Incoming: New Acquisitions at the City Art Centre, join us for a two-part exploration of their art with multi-media artist Suzy Cavill. Video one will explore the art and in the follow up video Suzy will inspire you to take on a practical exercise.
Each of the above artists place themselves in a time and a place through keen perception of their surroundings and the spirit of the place they capture in their art. Sometimes this is done as a visitor observing, or sometimes as a narrator letting us into a world we have never seen. In this short virtual tour and workshop, Suzy will explore different ways to show the world that we see.
