Edinburgh Living History are our group of Costumed performers. Join them in the People’s Story Museum as they interpret history. Characters from 18th century Edinburgh and The Suffragettes will be in attendance to tell you about their lives. Hear about the plans for the new town and how it will change the lives of rich and poor. Don’t worry about pickpockets for the Town Guard's finest will be in attendance. Ladies, are you prepared to sign up for the march to London to present a petition to Mr Asquith about votes for women? Free and drop in activities, no need to book.

Open Streets in Edinburgh temporarily open streets to people by closing them to cars. Open Streets seeks to help to increase public exploration, use and awareness of the connected areas in the old town. We are delighted that our four Royal Mile venues are participating with a series of free lively events.
