Have you ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at a museum?

Museums & Galleries Edinburgh is the custodian of over 200,000 items relating to the civic and cultural history of the city and, in Auld Reekie Retold, the service has launched an ambitious project connecting Edinburgh’s people to its collections.

In the first of a series of digital talks, we introduce Project Manager, Nico Tyack and Curator, Anna MacQuarrie discussing their work behind the scenes and how Auld Reekie Retold seeks to link with communities around the city.

The event will be chaired by Collections Engagement Officer, Russell Clegg and there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Come and join us for this introductory insight into the work of our curatorial and collections team!

You will be sent a joining link to this lecture the day before the event.

Please note: the talk will take place on Microsoft Office Teams, no software required to access the platform.

Join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook using #AuldReekieRetold.
