Sunday 4 October, 1pm - 4pm

Scotland's warrior Monarch certainly had plenty hard times in his ambitious life but he was also noted for his sense of humour. Employing a full-time jester, Patrick, it must have been a double act of some mirth and now the king has a solo act to please audiences of all ages. If the king is in a generous mood, he may even confer knighthoods and ladyships on his younger subjects. Join us for a performance around the museum.

Free and drop-in, no need to book.

Open Streets in Edinburgh temporarily open streets to people by closing them to cars.

Open Streets seeks to help to increase public exploration, use and awareness of the connected areas in the old town.  We are delighted that our four Royal Mile venues are participating with a series of free lively events.
