As part of RebusFest (30.06.17-02.07.17), the programme of music, art and film celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of John Rebus, the Writers’ Museum worked with Ian Rankin to create a new exhibition.
It explores the relationship between the author and his most famous character, and both men’s connections with Edinburgh, its history, people and literary figures of the past. On display for the first time is an especially commissioned film interview with Ian Rankin, and a selection of original
manuscripts, personal items and images.
