We don’t have guided tours, but there is information throughout the Museum to help you explore our collections.
School visits are welcome. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Unfortunately the Museum is not wheelchair accessible as it is located on the upper floor of the building. There is no lift.
If you would like to take photographs, please let one of our customer assistants know. They will give you our brief guidelines on photography in our museums.
Children can enjoy hands-on activities at the Museum, including using our telescope to explore the Forth and discovering the historic sounds of Queensferry.
Unfortunately, we are not able to store luggage for you at the Museum.
Visitors can bring small buggies upstairs into the Museum and have them stored during their visit. Please ask our customer assistants for advice.
At the moment we only have information in English.
‘Pay and Display’ parking is available close to the Museum.
The High Street and surrounding area have many food and drink options.
There is nowhere to eat a packed lunch in the Museum itself, but there are benches further along the High Street with views across the Forth.
