Astronomy on Calton Hill with Dr Bruce Vickery.


Join Dr Bruce Vickery on a walking tour of Calton Hill. Discover more about the site's importance in the history  of astronomy,as well as some of the leading figures from the past associated with it.

The tours are free and will last approximately one hour. They will start and finish at the Nelson Monument.

In the event of bad weather,the talk will be delivered from inside the Nelson Monument.

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

The full restoration of the City Observatory complex is a partnership project between the City of Edinburgh Council and Collective Gallery.
