Experience great costumed interpretation of the Castle with our special tours. Be transported back to the Edwardian period and meet Mr and Mrs Reid, their staff, family and fr...


Visit Lauriston Castle and learn from the owners and staff about some of the many unusual objects in the house e.g.  a genuine Venetian balcony rail that now acts as a radiator protector. Find out if there are other items that are not quite what they seem to be.

Suitable for all the family.

Edinburgh Living History is a group of volunteers who work with the City of Edinburgh Museum staff to assist with the interpretation of the collections at Lauriston Castle.
